Art Auction of Contemporary Works by Friends of Lviv National Academy of Arts

On December 13, a Charity Auction of Contemporary Art was held at the Astoria Hotel Lviv.
The auction featured 39 works by renowned artists, including alumni and professors of the Lviv National Academy of Arts.
The event aimed to support the art therapy program jointly initiated by the Academy, the Friends of LNAA Charity Fund, and doctors from the Unbroken Rehabilitation Center for veterans and civilians undergoing rehabilitation.
In the Academy’s workshops, patients work with clay, leather, textiles, as well as delve into jewelry and sacred art. This creative process helps them overcome psychological challenges, restore inner balance, and discover new meanings.

The Lviv National Academy of Arts and the Friends of LNAA Charity Fund are committed to expanding the art therapy program and making the Academy accessible to all. We are gradually removing barriers by installing ramps, elevators, and reconstructing doorways and restrooms. Our goal is to create an inclusive space where everyone can work, create, and study comfortably.
Together with the Friends of LNAA, the Academy is breaking barriers and unlocking new opportunities for healing through art.
