President of the «Friends of LNAA» Foundation on the Interactive Map by LNAA

The President of the Charity foundation «Friends of LNAA», Oleksiy Cherednichenko participated in the fresco painting of a church that is included in the list of landmarks of the Lviv National Academy of Arts’ project «Interactive Map and web catalogue of architectural objects belonging to the heritage of Sacred Heritage of Lviv Region», which is being carried out with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Fund.

In 2004, Oleksiy began the fresco painting of the Church of Saints Holy Martyrs, Vira, Nadia, Liubow, and their mother Sophia in Zolochiv, along with his colleagues Roman Kysly, Igor Teply, and Andriy Urbanovych. They completed the fresco painting of the dome.

In 2005, for his diploma defense at the Department of Sacred Art of LNAA, Oleksiy Cherednichenko, under the guidance of Kostya Markovych, developed a project for the fresco painting of the vaults and the altar part of the church and began its implementation.

The fresco painting involved Maxim Tronets, Dmytro Gorditsa, Dmytro Vasylykiv, Dmytro Pshenychny, Svitlana Cherednichenko, Yevhen Tyshchenko, and Oleg Mysiak. Under the leadership of Oleksiy Cherednichenko, an icon painting group called «Kyprian» was formed, and they completed the fresco painting of the rest of the church. Significant assistance and support were provided by Kostya Markovych, the priest Father Vasyl Sagan, and the parishioners of the church. The work on the frescoes was completed in 2006.
