Exhibition «ON THE EDGE»

June 20, 2023 Exhibition «ON THE EDGE” From June 12th to June 20th, the LNAM Gallery hosted the exhibition «ON THE EDGE». It was a collaborative project involving three departments of the Faculty of Decorative and Applied Arts at LNAA: Art Metal, Art Ceramics, and Art Wood. The artworks were created using fragments, empty shells of projectiles, and remnants of enemy ammunition. These materials became integral parts of the art pieces, reminding us of war, just as war has become a part of our lives. The exhibition’s creation involved not only faculty members and students but also alumni of the Academy, reaffirming once again that we are willing to unite for a common purpose. After the conclusion of the exhibition, these works will be showcased at European exhibitions and auctions, with the proceeds directed towards the renovation of the Academy’s shelter.
