July 9, 2025 The charity foundation «Friends of LNAA» celebrates its 3rd anniversary! The charity foundation «Friends of LNAA» was founded by Academy alumni in 2022. Since then, much has happened — we’ve implemented dozens of projects and become a part of the transformation within the Academy, its students, faculty, and community. «Our story began as part of LNAA’s strategic vision.Even before the full-scale invasion, the foundation was envisioned as a driving force for change and support for the Academy. Then the war began — and the foundation was created as a tool to preserve the institution and support students and faculty in extremely difficult times,»— recalls one of the co-founders and foundation president, Oleksii Cherednichenko. It all began with scholarships. We saw how the war, instability, and personal challenges threatened students’ ability to continue their studies. And we decided to act. More than 130 semester-long scholarships became possible thanks to your support — full or partial coverage of tuition or dormitory expenses for students. The Academy thrives when its faculty are teaching. That’s why our faculty support program remains a top priority. «These walls are home to creative ideas, bold motivation, and brave intentions. And most importantly — a wealth of talented young people whose artistic voices will soon ring out in the world with a distinctly Ukrainian sound,» — says co-founder Viktoriia Shatkovska. We care about accessibility. The foyer, staircases, and preparations for elevator installation — all of this changes the feeling of the space.We created art therapy spaces so that everyone — including patients from the UNBROKEN rehabilitation center — can engage with art.We built a modern shelter — with ventilation, lighting, a kitchen, and exhibition fittings. It’s no longer just a shelter, but another hall of the Academy.We invested in repairs — classrooms, studios, the blacksmith workshop, departments — all the daily, invisible, but essential improvements.We’re renovating the dormitory: showers, sinks, hot water, kitchen stoves — the essentials that ensure a decent student life.We provided the psychologists from the Maltese Relief Service with a dedicated room in the dormitory. Because support isn’t only about money and renovations. Sometimes, you need a space where someone will simply listen. Thank you to everyone who’s been with us!This is only part of what we’ve achieved together.We’re growing and moving forward.New projects and new challenges lie ahead. Become a Friend of the Academy.

July 5, 2025 LNAA Alumni Reunion 2025 On June 13, the third LNAA Alumni Reunion took place at the Lviv National Academy of Arts — an event that has become a cherished tradition and an important part of cultivating a vibrant academic community. This year, we gathered in the Assembly Hall — a space still undergoing transformation, yet already becoming part of our shared history. Alumni from different graduating years returned to the familiar walls to witness how the Academy is growing and evolving. The reunion served as a heartfelt reminder of how essential it is to maintain the connection between those who have just received their diplomas and those who graduated long ago. As always, the reunion included a meaningful initiative — the fundraiser for the named scholarship «From Alumni to Student». This year, we raised 13,425 UAH. Thanks to this scholarship, for the third consecutive year, students in need have been given the opportunity to continue their education despite life’s challenges. Thank you for being with us!This gathering is about community, support, and memory — and we’re already looking forward to the next one.

July 1, 2025 KRAM at LNAM Last week, we held a charity fair that turned into a true celebration of craft, art, music, and warmth.We want to thank everyone who came, supported, purchased, talked, smiled, and was inspired by our students. Together, we raised nearly 55,000 UAH!These funds will support important initiatives carried out by the charitable foundation «Friends of LNAA» in aid of the Academy and its students. And more than that — we showed the world how much talent and imagination lives in our young artists.There was painting and graphics, ceramics, jewelry made of glass, metal, and leather, books, textiles — all created with soul and a smile. It was the summer edition of «KRAM».And yes, we already miss it a little. But not for long.

April 3, 2025 Renovations in LNAA Units While redesigning the lobby of Building #4, we created a new security room, which altered part of the Communication and Exhibition Office space. March 29, 2025 Renovations in LNAA Buildings Renovation at the Academy of Arts is about more than just fresh walls—it’s about better infrastructure. Last year we focused on vital but often unseen improvements: updates to electrical, heating, and sewer systems. Third Charity Icon Painting Workshop «Sign of Hope» Today, as Christians worldwide celebrate the Annunciation, we’re excited to share good news: yesterday, the Department of Sacred Art at LNAA, supported by Friends of LNAM, launched the third charity icon painting workshop «Sign of Hope». The goal of the workshop is to deliver a spiritual message of hope through sacred art and remind us of the power of faith and unity. The project also has a charitable purpose: proceeds from the sale of icons will support the Department of Sacred Art and students affected by the war. Photo by Yuliia Mikheleva
