July 4, 2024 English Summer Camp at LNAA These days, our English Summer Camp has kicked off, made possible thanks to three extraordinary individuals: Svitlana Blinova, who came up with this format; Uliana Shchurko, who embraced the wonderful idea; and, of course, our incredible friend — American volunteer and native speaker Michael Radigan! Michael’s dedication and commitment to high values always inspire our entire team. Throughout the academic year, Michael comes to the Academy and teaches English to our students and faculty. Now, during the summer break, he has agreed to run the English Summer Camp for everyone wishing to improve their language skills. Michael’s lessons are always interesting and dynamic — from captivating stories about life in Alaska, where his brother lives, to deep dives into grammar and other aspects of the language. Michael often supports our talented students, volunteers for the Foundation, and always asks how he can further help. A simple American with a big heart — that’s how we can describe Michael.   We are immensely grateful to him for supporting all our initiatives. Thank you for your self-sacrifice and dedication to your work; it is the most valuable to us.

July 2, 2024 KRAM at LNAA Took Place! This past weekend, we held another KRAM at LNAA – an event that brings experience and vibrancy to the student life at the Academy. This event allows us to see how our talented students bring their creative ideas to life. At this market, students have the opportunity not only to showcase their work but also to experience the atmosphere of a real trading process. They rent tables from the organizers and spend two days selling their artworks. This allows them to learn to evaluate their creative work, navigate pricing, and present their products. Students often cooperate and share a table among three, making the market even more cohesive and friendly. Additionally, our charitable foundation has a table at the market where everyone can support our talented students by purchasing their works or LNAA merchandise. All the proceeds go towards helping our scholarship recipients, making each buyer a part of this incredibly important mission. Here, you can find many bold and creative items at very affordable prices. The atmosphere at the market is always very friendly and heartwarming. Visitors often tell us that KRAM resembles a real European flea market. After the market, students exchange their works and gift each other stickers, which looks very sweet and cheerful.   We invite you to the next KRAM at LNAA, which will take place in winter!   Come and find unique and impressive items that will bring you joy and the feeling that you are supporting the talents of the future! Involvement of Alumni and Students in Alumni Meeting 2.0 Last year’s alumni reunion was joyous not only because of the warm reunions with friends but also due to the fulfillment of our charitable goal: raising funds for scholarships for Academy students. We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support this initiative received. Alumna of graphic design, Khrystyna Zaiats, along with Oksana Lobas-Zaiats, contributed a series of festive postcards created before Easter. This series continues to grow throughout the year, showcasing artistic interpretations of traditional holidays and biblical motifs. We were also delighted by the beautiful postcards created by students from the Department of Graphic Design. They made these postcards under the guidance of their instructor, Yoncha Savenyuk, and donated them to the Fund. Such gestures inspire and energize our team. The event was actively supported by some of the Friends of LNAA scholarship recipients, who brightened the day with their presence and eagerly responded to any request for help. They assisted with registration, sold merchandise, and brought joy to everyone with their smiles. We thank everyone for your support and invite you to join the Fund’s projects! June 23, 2024 Weekly English-Language Camp for Adults From July 1 to 5, the Lviv National Academy of Arts will host an English-language camp for adults. The main mentor and instructor for the camp will be Michael Radigan, an English teacher with over 30 years of experience who collaborates with the Lviv National Academy of Arts and the Ukrainian Catholic University. Participation Fee: A charitable contribution of 2500 UAH, supporting the projects of the “Friends of LNAA” Charitable Fund. June 18, 2024 KRAM at LNAA The Charity Foundation «Friends of LNAA» invites you to the KRAM exhibition-fair at the Lviv National Academy of Arts on June 29-30. The fair will feature unique creations made of metal, glass, and wood, as well as ceramics, textiles, paintings, and graphics by the students of the Lviv National Academy of Arts. In addition, there will be workshops for children, a music program, an open-air food court, and more.   Location: 47 Sknopkivska St., Lviv Entry Fee: A charitable donation of 80 UAH or more    We look forward to seeing you there!

June 16, 2024 «From Alumni to Student» Scholarship On June 14, 2024, the Lviv National Academy of Arts hosted a grand event — the Alumni Reunion! This was not only a time for reminiscing and reconnecting but also a fundraising initiative where we collectively supported the Academy’s students. The uniqueness of this reunion lay in the debut presentation of our Academy’s merchandise, making it a truly unforgettable moment. The «Friends of LNAA» Charity fundation organized this event to raise funds for tuition support for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, helping them achieve their dreams and continue their artistic education. Dear alumni, your generosity and support inspire us! Thanks to you, we managed to raise 26,995 UAH. These funds will be directed towards the establishment of the «From Alumni to Student» named scholarship, aimed at assisting those who need it the most. The combined efforts, warm atmosphere, and good intentions made this evening extraordinarily meaningful. We thank each of you for your participation, your support, and your contribution to our common cause. We are grateful for the opportunity to be together and help the young generation of artists.   We look forward to our next meeting with great anticipation!
