Accessibility Enhances Tomorrow

April 3, 2025 Accessibility Program at LNAA Accessibility is one of the core priorities of Friends of LNAA. Thanks to our donors’ support, we continue making the Academy more comfortable for everyone. We renovated the stairwell in Building #4, replaced doors, and added ramps. Lifts were installed in Buildings #2 and #4 to improve access for visitors with reduced mobility. We also updated the lobby and created a security room. December 21, 2023 Charity Art Auction On December 20, a Charity Art Auction took place, graciously hosted by the Astoria Hotel. Among the lots were 52 artworks by renowned artists – professors and graduates of the Lviv National Academy of Arts. Due to the full-scale invasion, the number of Ukrainians with disabilities has increased by more than 300,000. We must create a comfortable environment adapted to the needs of all people. With the support of our partner, Unbroken, we conduct art therapy sessions for military and civilian individuals affected by war in the Academy’s educational buildings. Unfortunately, not everyone can move freely, so it becomes essential to address these challenges. Among other initiatives, the mission of the Charity Foundation «Friends of LNAA» is to support the Academy in breaking down barriers so that everyone has fair and equal access. The goal of fundraising at the auction is to eliminate any obstacles to educational premises, making them maximally accessible to all visitors. Thus, creating an environment where everyone can feel the freedom to act and unleash their creative potential. We express our gratitude to the Astoria Hotel for their cooperation and support in our charitable initiatives. Congratulations on your 109th anniversary. We understand that during these challenging times, celebrations may not be in order, but you continue to support the development of local art in Lviv. We also want to thank you for establishing a named scholarship for talented students of the Academy from the Astoria Hotel.
